• Regularly check and improve how we save energy, reduce waste, dispose of it safely, and prevent pollution.
• Teach and guide our teams to follow safety and environmental procedures at all times.

Management’s Responsibilities:
PJ Margo Management is committed to

• Employ systems and procedures that ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and other requirements relating to the environment.
• Compliance with Rule 14 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, PJ Margo submits an annual Environmental Audit Report to the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
• Promote the use of a process approach and risk-based thinking.
• Put controls in place to protect the environment from any significant environmental aspects and impacts arising from our work activities
• Installed Zero Liquid Discharge and Multiple Effect Evaporation Plant to help manage waste and to save water.

Employee Responsibilities:

• Supporting management by accepting and follow the environment policy genuinely.
• Every employee has a responsibility to protect the environment within their operation work area.
• Comply with applicable environmental legislation and Company policies, procedures and practices.
• Observe environmental related signs, posters, warning signals and written directions.
• Learn about potential environmental hazards associated with their work and work area; know what information on those hazards is kept and where, and use this information when needed.
• Report any environmental concerns or incidents to their line manager.
